Mobile Fast

iphone.jpgIn my life, 3 things are very important-The internet, mobile phone and Email. Can you live without mobile for 48 hours??? I can honest to tell you"Yes, I can!" But what about a month? one year????

Last 2 days I really have a good experience because I find the mobile phone hasn't control my life.To be honest, I should say the internet play an very important role in my life especially when I live far away from my family. So I never ever think to try the Internet Fast.

Although the mobile phone haven't control my life but I still find without it is so inconvenient in my life. For example, when I want to know the time but I realise the mobile is not in my pocket, so I should wear my watch. Usaully I use mobile alarm to wake me up but now I should use clock.

without mobile, I need to write evenything down in the paper.

without mobile, I have no idea how to go to my friend house when I can't remember her number.

without mobile, I can't text my parents that I text them every day.

But the good news is I also find it is so quite and I don't need to answer phone or text, I have plenty time to think what I want to do in the future-further study or start working?

Although Mobile phone hasn't control my life, but I think my life can't live without it.The technology is getting more and more important in people daily life.

Mobile Commerce in Hospitality Industry

M-commence in hospitality industry.jpeg Mobile Commence (M-commence) is customers using a mobile device such as mobile phone or personal digital assistants (PDA) to purchase goods or service with wireless technology.
It‘s strong recommended in the hospitality industry. Business customers can easy to use cell phone or PDA to check room price and make reservation. In the restaurant, customers can take order through mobile rather than waiting for a waiter or waitress to take order.

This technology is widely used in Japan. When you go to a restaurant there always have a electrical order machine outside, customers could take order and paid here and the machine will give you a receipt and which customer ordered information have already directly goes to the kitchen. So when the customers go into their table, their orders have already on their table. This is really save time especially for business people and also save staff. Usually there just need 4 staff in the restaurant -2 in the kitchen 2 clear the table which is totally save the money.

I have been to Austria where some restaurants use the electronic order pan in the customer table and I can purchase food and drinks by myself –all you need is just press the screen.

This technology is well accepted for the young generation but think about other customers who are not good at this area? Can you image when they go to this type of restaurant what should they do?

Google is one of the biggest SEM in the world, others such as Yahoo, Baidu, Microsoft etc. Take Google for example, there are 2 kinds of research: Paid listings and Organic (or natural) listings.

SEM.gif

Paid listings are those which need money to pay for their links and usually used is pay per click (PPC). Here are some advantages of paid listings:
-Listing is guaranteed and instant
-Flexible, allows for trial-and-error
-Search engine provides reporting
-Context/Geo Targeted (show the pacific area)
But also have disadvantages:
-It's very expensive to maintain.
-It also shows users are 80% less likely to click
-Competitors with deeper pockets can outbid you

For me, usually when I search for something, I always click the organic listings.
Organic listings are usually free. The Advantages of that:
-There is low cost means no money to search engines
-It shows users are 80% more likely to click
-High, positive can last long into future
-Perceived as a quality endorsement
Disadvantages:
-There is time required before results appear
-Difficult for high competitive phrases
-No guarantees

It is not just for Chinese, there also have multi-language supported such as English, Japanese, French etc. Today over more than 1 billion people opened accounts and 500 million active members-I think QQ is the largest online community in the world.

Most popular singer in China-Jay

周杰伦.jpeg If you ask me the question: who is the most popular singer in China? Jay Chow.

Jay has won awards from all over the world. Today, he is often regarded as the best Asian male singer and put into the top pop star position among Chinese-speaking community, and the reputation earned him a title of "Little King of R&B". Though pop music scene became more diversified in 2004, Jay unsurprisingly snatched three awards including the Most Popular Male Singer, the Best Male Singer and the Best Singer-Songwriter, and nominated for many other awards of the Channel V awards. His single hit "Qilixiang" was also awarded "Song of the Year". Young, cool, full of vitality and with individuality, he is an idol of the young generation. He has released one album per year, selling several million copies each. His music has gained recognition throughout Asia, most notably in countries such as China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, and in overseas Chinese communities, winning more than 20 awards each year. In 2007, he was named one of the 50-most influential people in China by the British think tank Chatham House.

Also known as the King of Chinese music, he is known for combining both Chinese and Western musical styles to produce a fresh sound that is quite unlike what is produced in mainstream Taiwanese pop, and also for his unique lyrics which touch on various issues.

In contrast to the United States where a negative connotation is placed on celebrities who endorse commercial products ("selling out"), in Asia, acquiring endorsement contracts with major brands are positive testaments of star-status. Chou has been a spokesperson for popular brands such as Pepsi, Panasonic, Motorola M-Zone/China Mobile, Levi's, Deerhui, and Metersbonwe, Colgate, popular computer game Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos, science and nature magazine National Geographic. To maximize the celebrity branding effect, advertisements are nearly always linked to his music and TV commercials are occasionally directed by him. He acted as the tourism ambassador for Malaysia in 2003.

NAMA-National Asset Management Agency

nama.jpg NAMA is the National Assests Management Agency. They were set up last year by the Irish Government to absorb any bad debt in the banks. Such as big developers that borrowed too much money and now can't afford to pay it back. NAMA will take their property and the debtor and manage it themselves or close it down.A lot of hotels will close because of Nama but its either that or the banks go bankrupt and the whole country would crumble on the stock market.

The Irish hotel industry is facing the biggest challenge in its history, hit by overcapacity, piunging visitor numbers, falling room rates and a chronic lack of credit. When I read Peter Bacon's report, it was suggested that established hoteliers may need to moved into some of the newer hotels on the market if their own was closed.

Pat McCann said "NAMA has a very clear brief which is not talked about and that is the protection of jobs. It's not going to solve the oversupply in the hotel sector because it will want to maintain these business."

For the hotel industry, Nama will not fix it but what about other industry in Ireland?

Anyway, I think Nama for me is really new...I really don't know the systerm here...only one thing I can sure is that...it just happened in Ireland!
